College Park’s Business and Industrial Development Authority, Clearly College Park, received approval to move forward with development of Six West, a $1.5-billion mixed-use project adjacent to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The more than 320-acre development will include three million square of office space, up to six hotels, 548,000 square feet of retail and 450 residential units, encompassing apartments, townhomes and single family and senior living residences.

City of College Park’s Artie Jones III says, “We aim to memorialize the site’s past while developing its future. This development is a testament to the redefined economic growth of College Park, and we hope its thunderous impact on our reputation and economy stands to share the next 100 years.”

The project is set to officially break ground later this spring. The development site is on reclaimed residential land owned by the city, just west of the historic downtown district and the College Park MARTA station, across Interstate 85 South.
