Forest City Takes 417 Metro to Next Phase

Forest City Realty Trust has initiated the second phase of its redevelopment, preservation and adaptive re-use endeavors at Metro 417 in DTLA. The company envisions creating a mixed-use community that embraces the historic elements of the 500,000-square-foot building, while appealing to a renewed quest for vibrant and engaging urban environments.

This newest phase involves redeveloping and transforming the ground floor and two subterranean floors into approximately 133,000 square feet of multi-tenant retail space. Phase one consisted of 277 loft-style apartment homes at the 1925-era Subway Terminal Building, located at 417 South Hill St.

JLL’s Lorena Tomb and Danielle Cornwell are marketing the retail space for lease.
