Smithco Development and Mischer Investments are nearing completion on their retail development, Cypress Creek Plaza at 9690 Fry Rd. in Houston. The property has attracted 17 businesses, and is currently 80% leased.
The development is in the master-planned community of Cypress Creek Lakes on the Houston metro’s far northwest side, with an H-E-B grocery store as an anchor. The 51,000-square-foot development consists of three multi-tenant retail buildings, and three pad sites facing Fry Road. Zaxby’s, Chase Bank and Wendy’s have taken the pad sites.
Other businesses include Ideal Dental, Nails of America, Re/Max, Sport Clips, True Companion Animal Hospital, and Urgent Care for Kids. The developers have approximately 60 acres adjacent to Cypress Creek Plaza targeted for future expansion.
