Griffin Capital Net Lease REIT sold 7601 Technology Way, a 192,989-square-foot office building in the Denver Tech Center. Buying the asset was City Office REIT, which paid $48.7 million for the more than 20-year-old building, which sits on approximately 9.8 acres. The transaction works out to approximately $252-per-square-foot.
The seller ended an eight-year-hold on the building, which it had acquired for $41.5 million in 2011. Griffin was represented by CBRE’s Tim Richey, Mike Winn, Jenny Knowlton, Chad Flynn and Charley Will.
The building, part of a former office campus, offers a large tenant lounge, fitness facility with showers and lockers, outdoor patio space and conference and training rooms.
