Triago Holdings LLC acquired Republic Woodlake, a 288-unit, 10-year-old apartment complex on San Antonio’s northwest side. The Utah buyer struck a deal with seller Pensam Capital of Miami for the property, marking its first foray into Texas. The sales price was not disclosed, with Bexar County valuing the asset at $27.7 million.
The value-add play will include an upgrade program and property re-positioning.
Situated on 15.4 acres at 7027 Farm-to-Market Rd. 78, Republic Woodlake offers one, two and three-bedroom units ranging from 587 to 1,150 square feet. Amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, on-site dog park, washer and dryer connections and a resident club house.
Triago Holdings is looking for similar value-add opportunities in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth.
