Boston-based Boylston Properties is adding a hotel into the mix of uses at the $400-million Arsenal Yards mixed-use development in Boston’s Watertown. The redevelopment of the former Arsenal Mall is now planned to include a 145-room Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton, along with first-floor retail space.
Arsenal Yards is envisioned to include 350,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space, and roughly 500 apartments, that will be blended together with 100,000 square feet of office space.
The hotel development involves a new joint venture between an affiliate of Boylston Properties and Stonebridge Partners. It will be sited along Arsenal Street, adjacent to a parking garage, and is slated to deliver in spring 2019.
