555 West End Ave., a landmarked Beaux Arts Catholic School that has been transformed into residential condominiums, has listed its “crown jewel” for $22.5 million. Known as the Terrace Penthouse, it’s replete with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths in a space spanning more than 5,000 square feet.
Developed by CL Investment Group in partnership with Tamarkin Co., 555 West End on Manhattan’s Upper West Side contains just 13 condos. The Terrace Penthouse spans the original landmarked building and the one-story addition on which Tamarkin received Landmarks Preservation Commission approval to add to the conversion.
The Terrace Penthouse abuts the development’s Solarium Penthouse, enabling the two residences to be combined. It includes 2,200 square feet of interior space and 2,800 square feet of private outdoor space across two levels.
Sotheby’s International Realty’s Cathy Taub and Compass Development’s Alexa Lambert share the co-exclusive listing. Hill West Architects is the architect of record.
