Glendale, CA-based Regalian, LLC is proposing to develop a 66-story, mixed-use tower that would be among the tallest in DTLA. The 1.88-acre site is a couple of doors up from L.A. Live, between the revamped Hotel Figueroa and the iconic Original Pantry Cafe.
Plans submitted to the city this week envision 200 condominiums, a 220-room hotel, 94,000 square feet of commercial space and a 617-space parking garage. The skyline-altering building would be built on a parking lot in South Park at 925 S. Figueroa that was last appraised at more than $12 million in 2015.
The developer would transfer 473,038 square feet of floor area into one project site through merger and re-subdivision.
