Albertsons Cos. is bringing its 700,644-square-foot freezer/cooler warehouse and distribution facility to market. Binswanger is marketing the asset, which is situated on 70.2 acres at 10700 Telge Rd. in Houston. The rail-adjacent property is in the Aberdeen Business Park.
The building consists of 398,000 square feet of grocery/dry warehouse space, and 119,500 square feet of perishable/cooler space that has a maintained temperature of -5 degrees. The property also includes a maintenance shop, asset recovery center, truck maintenance shop and air-conditioned office space.
Holmes Davis of Binswanger’s Dallas office is the lead broker for the property. Marketing is being targeted to retail grocery companies, food processing and distributing providers, wholesale trade businesses and others. Albertsons indicated that the facility would close, with operations consolidated near Dallas-Fort Worth.
