Forest City’s Promenade Mall Seeks Renovation Approval

Chicago-based Forest City Enterprises has submitted a proposal to the city of Temecula to renovate The Promenade Mall. The intended plan will add open-air shopping space, as well as restaurants. Two Macy’s department stores are planned for the remodel and they will be linked by a pedestrian walkway.

The Temecula City Council is reviewing the project and should provide comments by January 4, 2016.  The last time the mall was renovated was in 2009, when 126,000 square feet of shopping space was added to the property.
