AEG to Develop MXU Entertainment District in Nashville

Los Angeles-based AEG is acquiring a four-acre parcel of land to develop a new mixed-use entertainment district at Nashville Yards in downtown Nashville, TN. AEG envisions a mixed-use entertainment district anchored by a 4,000-capacity music venue, a flagship Regal Cinemas luxury theatre complex, a 600-700-capacity live entertainment club, an approximately 240-room boutique hotel, and a variety of other entertainment and food and beverage offerings.

AEG’s new entertainment district development will be integrated into San Diego-based Southwest Value Partners’ Nashville Yards’ already announced project to create a dynamic mixed-use community. The 15-acre site on the western edge of downtown stretches from Broadway north past Church Street, and includes modern urban retail, hospitality, creative Class A office, residential and entertainment offerings in the heart of Nashville.

AEG’s portfolio of mixed-use entertainment districts includes such destinations as L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, The O2 in London and Mercedes-Benz Platz in Berlin, Germany.
