Pasadena, CA-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. plans to deliver 188 East Blaine St. and start pre-construction activities for 1165 Eastlake Ave. East in Seattle in Q2 2019. These value-creation development projects will add more than 300,000 rentable square feet of critically needed, highly adaptable state-of-the-art office/laboratory space to its Lake Union life science campus.
188 East Blaine Street (pictured), a 198,000-square-foot, ground-up development project, will feature distinctive design and new amenities, including a rooftop deck with sweeping views of Seattle and Lake Union, waterfront access, a communal atrium, a modern conference center, a fully equipped fitness center and a healthy eatery.
1165 Eastlake Avenue East is a 106,000-square-foot Class A office/laboratory envisioned as a collaborative environment for life science and technology. This sustainably designed, waterfront facility will feature cutting-edge labs, creative office space and a collection of amenities. The project represents the only new construction lab availability in the market, and is expected to deliver in 2020.
