Pasadena-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities and San Francisco-based TMG Partners submitted a revised plan to the San Francisco City Planning Dept. for a mixed-use project at 88 Bluxome St. The 2.6-acre SoMa site is located on the same block where a Central Subway station will be constructed.
The proposed project will be anchored by commercial office, retail, and production, distribution and repair (PDR) space, and is envisioned to meet a number of community priorities.
88 Bluxome St. will also include a community recreation center, a child care center and a community garden, as well as land for construction of a 100-percent affordable housing project. The development team seeks to build a project that “balances economic and community development”, while delivering “cutting-edge space.”
