SL Green Realty Corp. confirmed Monday that it signed Amazon to 335,000 square feet of office space at 410 Tenth Ave., formerly known as 460 W. 34th St., in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards submarket. The e-commerce giant is already a tenant at Brookfield’s 5 Manhattan West.
Amazon’s lease comes months after First Republic Bank signed a 211,521-square-foot lease at the property, which is undergoing a makeover. “The selection of 410 Tenth Ave. by Amazon and First Republic Bank is a great endorsement of our exciting redevelopment plan for the building which is now 96.2% leased only seven months after acquisition,” said SL Green’s Steven Durels.
The REIT acquired a controlling stake in the Far West Side property earlier this year, valuing 410 Tenth at $440 million.
NKF’s Brian Waterman, Scott Klau, Brent Ozarowski and Erik Harris represented SL Green. JLL’s Derek Trulson, Bill Peters and Josh Stuart advised Amazon.
