Seattle-based Amazon inked a deal for 303,360 square feet of industrial space in Hillsboro, OR’s Majestic Brookwood Business Park. The new facility is being used as a sortation center, and will employ up to 1,000. Mike Thomas and Mark McClung with Colliers International represented landlord Majestic in the lease deal.
The 73-acre Majestic Brookwood Business Park on Northwest Brookwood Parkway south of SH 26 is billed as the largest speculative property built in the region. Along with Amazon, ViaWest uses 200,000 square feet for a data center, and Top Golf built its first Pacific Northwest location on 13 acres.
