Anchor Health Properties invested in La Ronde Medical Centre, a highly-strategic 89,000-square-foot institutional-quality outpatient facility in Sun City, AZ, through a joint venture with an affiliate of The Carlyle Group. Located northwest of downtown Phoenix in the heart of a high-density retirement corridor, the medical center features easy access to and from downtown Phoenix and near the 501-bed Banner Boswell Medical Center.
Anchor’s James Schmid says, “This exceptional property represents the first integrated outpatient medical center we have acquired in the Phoenix market, and perfectly complements our strategy and growth projections.”
Originally developed as part of a multi-use project, the property was completely redeveloped between 2015 and 2016 into a forward-thinking, integrated, and synergistic medical campus offering storefront access for each tenant, a major strategic advantage given the need for ease of access by the local senior population.
Capital One provided secured debt financing, and CBRE provided sales advisory services.
