Two leases totaling 200,000 square feet brought Riata Corporate Park in northwest Austin to 100% occupancy. Global pharmaceutical company Allergan took down 107,000 square feet in Buildings 2 and 3, while Apple leased the entire 93,000-square-foot Building 8.
Mike Brown and Will Stewart with Transwestern represented the landlord, Accesso Partners LLC. Accesso acquired the 51-acre, 688,433-square-foot property at Riata Trace Parkway in 2015. Since then, the Hallendale Beach, FL-based property owner made upgrades, which included adding a 3,000-square-foot WiFi-equipped employee lounge with a deli café. Additionally, three fitness centers were upgraded.
Apple is leasing space ahead of the opening of its $1 billion campus. In addition to a short-term lease at Riata Corporate Park, the Silicon Valley tech giant owns Riata Crossing North, a neighboring, four-building office complex. Apple is also taking space at the Parmer Innovation Center, which is close to its new facility.
