Greenwich, CT-based Arch Street Capital Advisors sold the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Field Office in Salt Lake City, on behalf of an unnamed institutional client to Washington, DC-based Easterly Government Properties, Inc. The 169,542-square-foot, mission critical facility is 100% leased to the U.S. GSA on behalf of the FBI. Terms were not released.
Located adjacent to the Salt Lake City International Airport, the built-to-suit property was completed in 2012 and houses the FBI’s Salt Lake Field Office, which oversees operations in Utah, Idaho and Montana.
Specifically designed and built for the FBI under a 20-year original lease, the Class A, specialized asset is backed by the credit of the U.S. Government. It has 15-years of remaining lease term with no cancellation options, providing strong credit and stability for the new owner through 2032.
