Beauty Company Inks Office, Manufacturing Leases in Brooklyn

Colliers International Group completed a pair of leases in Brooklyn for technology-powered beauty company Prose. In the most recent deal, Colliers’ Marcus Rayner, Richard Warshauer and Sam Einhorn arranged a 28,000-square-foot lease at 850 Third Ave. in Sunset Park.

In addition to settling Prose’s manufacturing operations at its new location, Colliers also helped secure new headquarters space of nearly 12,000 square feet at the old Domino Sugar Factory site in Williamsburg. The lease, which is for the entire eighth and ninth floors of the building, made Prose the first commercial tenant at the property.

“While consolidating office and manufacturing operations was an option for a company like Prose, it didn’t ultimately provide solutions that satisfied the company’s need for growth, flexibility and recruitment,” said Rayner. “Ultimately, dividing Prose’s operations in Brooklyn provided a better operating solution that was also cost-effective, which is vital at this stage in its growth.”
