BH Properties acquired 2021 Lakeside Boulevard, a vacant, four-story, 60,000-square-foot office building. In acquiring the asset from iStar, the California investor now owns two properties in the Dallas suburb.
The building delivered in 1991, and is situated on a high-visibility parcel adjacent to U.S. 75. “We liked the size of the Lakeside asset, as it offered an excellent leasing opportunity well-suited to a sole tenant or multiple tenants drawn to its high-visibility location,” said BH Properties’ Andrew Van Tuyle. He added that the company would continue to “buy vacancy,” especially in high-growth areas.
BH Properties acquired a two-story, 122,300-square-foot property at 1410 E. Renner Rd. in 2018, approximately two miles from the Lakeside asset. The investor is repositioning the property to take advantage of its proximity to the 186-acre, CityLine mixed-use development.
