Blackstone Pockets $84M on Office Sale

The Regents of the University of California acquired Governor Executive Centre and Governor Park Plaza in San Diego from The Blackstone Group LP for $83.6 million. The transaction involved two institutional-quality office campuses, totaling four buildings and 260,421 square feet.

Combined, the properties are 90.9% occupied, and are leased to tenants including the University of California, San Diego. The properties are located at 6165, 6256, 6333 and 6363 Greenwich Dr,. in the Golden Triangle area off the 805 Freeway and Highway 52.

JLL’s Bob Prendergast and Lynn LaChapelle represented the buyer. HFF’s Ryan Gallagher, Nicholas Psyllos, Nick Frasco and Michael Leggett advised the seller.
