Blackstone Group struck a deal with Adventus Realty Trust to sell the 869,120-square-foot Riverway office complex in Rosemont, IL. Upon closing, the $175-million transaction will be the largest in suburban Chicago so far this year.
Blackstone, in fact, will be breaking its own record. A little more than one month ago, the real estate owner struck a deal to sell Commerce Plaza in Oak Brook to Zeller Realty Group for $125 million.
Riverway, on Higgins and River Roads, includes three office towers and is approximately 95% occupied. The largest tenant, U.S. Foods, leases 320,085 square feet. Central States Pension Fund leases 175,059 square feet.
