The deal increases Bloomberg’s total tenancy in the 1.5-million-square-foot building to 458,998 square feet.

The 47-story building covers the entire block between 55th and 56th Streets, and has 1.5 million square feet of space. Other tenants include Bloomingdales, which has 204,442 square feet, and WeWork, which takes up 136,000 square feet.
The building is owned by SL Green Realty Corp., which negotiated the transaction in-house. Craig Reicher, Howard Fiddle, Chris Mansfield and Chris Corrinet of CBRE represented Bloomberg.
