Breather added five locations in Los Angeles, five months after launching a space in Venice Beach. The provider of on-demand workspaces opened in DTLA, Hollywood, West Hollywood and Culver City to serve creative, finance, entertainment and fashion professionals.
Since 2012, it has grown to more than 250 workspaces globally. Breather launched its first location in Los Angeles on the West Side to cater to the startup and tech communities.
The company says its SoCal expansion includes plans for Pasadena, Playa Vista, Silverlake and El Segundo in the coming months. Many of Breather’s spaces feature outdoor areas.
Breather’s Pete Sellick says, “interest has been strong in LA,” and the company is experiencing “increased demand for flexible space.” He says, “Landlords are excited to work with Breather because we give them the ability to offer an enhanced amenity within their properties.”
