The landmark office tower at 28 Liberty St. is getting a comprehensive renovation, which will repair its historic plaza and add 200,000 square feet of retail space.
The tower is also getting a new tenant. A financial tech firm, Broadway Technology, has leased 25,000 square feet of space at the 2.2-million-square-foot tower.
“After an exhaustive search throughout Lower Manhattan and Midtown South, relocating to 28 Liberty proved to be the ideal solution for Broadway Technology,” said Zev Holzman, senior managing director for Savills Studley, which represented Broadway Technology in the long-term lease transaction. Owner Fosun was represented by JLL.
