Barbara Armendariz, formerly with CBRE, launched SharpLine Commercial Partners, an “entrepreneurial” brokerage in DTLA focused on the retail and industrial property sectors. The retail leader is joined by industrial expert Kevin Herron, who also came from CBRE.
The pair brings more than 25 years of combined CRE experience to a boutique, single-point-of-contact business model.
Armendariz said, “I believe there is an unmet demand for this type of service for both investors and users. Our business platform was created to meet that demand via knowledgeable and dedicated brokers, thorough market data, and results-driven strategies.”
Her background includes representing such companies as 99¢ Only Stores, Dollar Express, Rite Aid, Comerica, and Starbucks. Herron’s worked with the likes of Northrop Grumman, LASplash Cosmetics, 7th Street Development, Avery Dennison, Voit Development Partners, Crane Freight, Currie Medical Specialties, and Rexford Industrial.
SharpLine plans to bring on six brokers, and hit $80 million in transaction volume this year.
