Several firms are catering to client demand for creative office space that breaks away the traditional cubicle pods, and Brookfield Office Properties is one of those companies on board with the concept.
The firm, which owns seven office towers in Downtown Los Angeles, just made public DesignHive. The intent is to show that creative office space is not just for tech and advertising firms but works just as well for industries not thought of as being associated with such environment, such as finance and law.
DesignHive is a collection of six office suites, with three each in Brookfield’s Wells Fargo Tower and Gas Company Tower. They were designed architecture firms Gensler, SAA, IA Interior Architects, Rottet Studio, Unispace and Wolcott.
The hope is to fill up the showcase spaces with tenants and educate others on the look of future office layouts.
