Brookwood Financial Partners ended its two-year hold on the Plaza 100 office building in Fort Lauderdale, selling it to Zurich Insurance Group. The Beverly, MA-headquartered seller pocketed $46.5 million from the 165,000-square-foot sale.
Brookwood paid $32.5 million to buy Plaza 100 from Accesso Partners in 2014. Accesso, in the meantime, had acquired the property for $20.8 million in 2010. Comerica Bank is one of the tenants at the building, which is at 100 N.E. 3rd Ave. in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Christian Lee, Jose Lobon, Amy Julian and Marcos Minaya with CBRE marketed the property, and represented Brookwood in the transaction.
