Bubble Tea Chain Finds Greenwich Village Outpost

Lee & Associates NYC’s Mark Kapnick has negotiated a ground-floor, 10-year lease at 168 Bleecker St., between Sullivan and Thompson streets, for bubble tea retailer MÖGE TEE. Kapnick represented both the tenant and ownership RWN and JMC Holdings, also known as 156 Bleecker Owner LLC.

The future home of MÖGE TEE is located near New York University ( NYU) as well as the West 4th Street-Washington Square station, which is served by seven subway lines. The ground-floor space was previously occupied by Pieology.

“With 150 outposts already in China, as well as five stores in New York City, MÖGE TEE is well- positioned for success in this new Greenwich Village space,” said Kapnick. “Seeing as it’s adjacent to the NYU campus, 168 Bleecker will make for a perfect flagship location, and will cater to students who are looking for an on-trend beverage option.”
