Houston-based Burton Construction has partnered with The Women’s Home, a United Way agency serving homeless women, to build the Mabee WholeLife Service Center.
The 30,000-square-foot multi-purpose facility will be located on the organization’s Spring Branch campus, at 1839 Jacquelyn Rd. The center, designed by Jackson & Ryan Architects, will feature meeting rooms, classrooms, a fine arts area and 14,000 square feet of green space. Burton Construction’s Juan Ospina noted the company was honored to join the project.
“While this center will play an important role in serving the needs of the community, it’s also a place where people will feel comfortable and welcomed,” Ospina said.
The facility is set to open in fall 2017.
