The housing lottery for 94 newly constructed affordable senior housing units at Victory Plaza in Central Harlem has opened. Located at 11 W. 118th St., the Camber Property Group project is 100% affordable, with 136 units including 41 set aside for formerly homeless seniors.
“As we build affordable housing throughout the City it is critical to focus on vulnerable populations, such as our seniors and the formerly homeless,” said Rick Gropper, co-founder of Camber Property Group. “Our ongoing recovery from COVID-19 will require a commitment to building a city affordable to everyone.”
The building will feature on-site wraparound social services, provided by Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement. At least one applicant for each apartment must be 62 or older.

The $65-million project was financed by the New York City Housing Development Corporation and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development along with Wells Fargo, and was designed by Aufgang Architects.
