Canadian Developer Acquires Another Site in San Diego

A Broadway Heights site, previously approved for a 22-story residential project, has been acquired by a Canadian-based developer for $10.9-million. Pinnacle International acquired the former Pacific Heights project site at 11th Ave. and A St., and is planning 284-units.

Pinnacle is no stranger to San Diego, having just completed Pinnacle on the Park, a 46-story, 484-unit apartment project in downtown. In 2005, the firm built the 182-unit Museum Tower.

Another local project in the works by Pinnacle is an approved 618-unit, two-tower project of up to 32 stories, at 11th Ave. and Broadway. The developer is considering which site to break ground on first, and whether they will be apartments or condos.
