Cawley Chicago recently closed on the sale of a 30,000-square-foot, rail-served industrial facility located on 10.5 acres of land in the South Side’s Brighton Park neighborhood. The property is located at 3710 S. California Ave., and sold for $4 million.

Matt Garland, Frank Melchert and Stevan Arandjelovic of Cawley Chicago represented the owner, Romar Transportation. The buyer was an undisclosed private investor.

“There were multiple challenges faced while selling the property,” said Garland. However, “both the seller and buyer were able to overcome various hurdles to reach an amenable agreement.” The site is well located and offers an active CN rail spur, according to Cawley Chicago.
