CBRE Arranges $24.9M Loan for Senior Housing Community

CBRE Capital Markets’ debt and structured finance team arranged a $24.9 million loan on behalf of The Grant Companies to refinance The Pointe at Lantern Crest, a senior housing community in Santee, CA. The resort-style community was first completed in 2012, and offers assisted living and memory care units.

A second phase was completed in 2015, offering independent and assisted living. The 102-unit property was built with Tuscan-influenced architecture, and features fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops, state-of-the-art appliances, washers and dryers.

CBRE’s Bill Chiles, Scott Peterson, and Brian Cruz secured an aggressive 10-year loan through Freddie Mac. The refinance was obtained to cover the existing construction loan.
