CBRE has arranged the sale of 800 Brickell, a 209,122-square-foot office building and adjacent nine-story parking structure on Brickell Avenue in Miami’s central business district. The sales price was reported as $125.5 million by various media outlets. The two-acre property is currently 71% leased and is adjacent to a mass-transit station.
Darryl Kaplan of Darryl R. Kaplan Co. advised the buyer, New York-based real estate firm Gatsby Enterprises. Christian Lee and José Lobón of CBRE represented the seller, an unnamed global investment manager, in the transaction.
“Our vision is to significantly upgrade the property by adding several prominent restaurants and renovating the exterior building facia, common area courtyard and interior lobby” said Isaac Shalom of Gatsby Enterprises. “We are excited to start with 800 Brickell, and are looking to acquire additional premier assets in the growing South Florida urban core markets.”
