CBRE, County, Arrange Infill Lease with Lincoln Property

CBRE and the Travis County Commissioners Court struck a deal for a 99-year ground lease with Lincoln Property Co. and Phoenix Property Co. for infill property in downtown Austin. The targeted site measures 77,215 square feet, and is at 308 Guadalupe. The selected firms proposed a mixed-use development on the site, that could include office, residential and hotel components.

Jerry Frey, Eric DeJernett, Burke Kennedy and Todd Mills, with CBRE’s Capital Markets and Advisory & Transaction Services teams in Austin, teamed with Peter Jansen and Michael McShea, with CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Solutions (PIES) Group, to represent Travis County Commissioners Court in the negotiations. Additional consultants included AECOM and Alvarez & Marsal.
