CDW Kicking Tires on 300K SF at Spec Chicago Tower

CDW is looking to take roughly 300,000 square feet at 625 W. Adams St., a newly-built 20-story tower in downtown Chicago. The technology products company is negotiating to relocate its downtown office and anchor the spec West Loop office tower.

Rosemont, IL-based White Oak Realty Partners and Chicago-based CA Office developed the 438,184-square-foot Adams Street office building. CDW’s current nearly 225,000-square-foot deal at Ivanhoe Cambridge’s 120 S. Riverside is set to expire in 2021.

A CDW spokeswoman told Crain’s Chicago, “With the upcoming expiration of our current Riverside office lease, we have initiated a thorough process to evaluate various options for our downtown Chicago office. We will ultimately make a decision that addresses the needs of our business, and is in the best interest of our coworkers.”
