CenterCal Properties LLC closed on the final nine acres of land for the third phase of its Mountain View Village, a mixed-use development in Riverton, UT. Upon buildout, the project will consist of one million square feet, situated on 85 acres along the Mountain View Corridor Highway and South Street.
Phase I of the project, which opened in 2018, is anchored by a Harmon’s grocery store, with other tenants including PetSmart, Michael’s and Famous Footwear. CenterCal began construction on the second phase in August 2019, which will include special retail, entertainment and restaurants.
CenterCal’s Fred Bruning didn’t state what would be involved with the third phase, only to indicate that it would focus on a “placemaking” philosophy. “CenterCal is pulling out all the stops in experiential technology for the final phase of development,” he said. “Visitors can expect to experience a new level of entertainment technology in our fountain and light productions.”
