The Brooks mixed-use community in San Antonio has finalized a long-term lease agreement with Compass Rose Public Schools for the expansion of the Compass Rose Legacy campus. Compass Rose will begin relocating to 70,000 square feet of space located at 3300 Sidney Brooks in the fall.

“The availability of quality educational options at Brooks and throughout the surrounding community is crucial to our economic development strategy,” said Brooks CEO Leo Gomez. “Compass Rose has been extremely successful in its three years on campus and their expansion of the Legacy campus to serve grades K-12 will give us three quality high school options all right here on our 1,308 acres.”

The lease agreement has an initial 30-year term commencing on August 1, with two 10-year options. The public charter school will remodel the building for its use, with the first floor anticipated to be ready by the first day of school on August 17.
