Sterling Bay has signed chef Curtis Duffy and his business partner Michael Muser to a 6,200-square-foot restaurant lease at its headquarters building, 1330 W. Fulton Market. To be known as Ever, the space is aiming for a spring 2020 opening, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Ever will provide seating for 62 guests, in addition to a private dining room that will seat another 12 to 14. It will offer two 12-to-15 course tasting menus, one focused on proteins and the other on vegetables.

“Chicago is an incredible food city,” said Muser. “Our job is to supply the city with an extraordinary dining experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the country. If we do our part, we know they’ll support us, we know they’ll respond.”

Duffy and Muser formerly presided over Grace in the West Loop, which was rated three stars by the Michelin Guide before closing in 2017.
