The Christus Southeast Texas Health System is continuing to move toward an integration of the nine-county region it serves in Southeast Texas. Since 2015, the healthcare system has invested more than $14 million in new construction and expansion. Additionally, it has rebranded its locations under the single name.
Construction projects have included conversion of St. Mary’s to a short-stay surgical hospital at 3701 Hwy. 73 in Port Arthur; expansion of St. Elizabeth’s neonatal intensive care unit and catheterization lab at 2965 Harrison in Beaumont; and creating a new, 36,000-square-foot outpatient center on SH 365 in Mid-County.
