Church Site Sold, Envisioned for Redevelopment

Costa Mesa, CA-based Warmington Land Associates II LP acquired a 7,003-square-foot building on a 3.2-acre site in Vista, CA for $2.5 million. The seller was First Church of Christ Scientist Carlsbad of Carlsbad, CA.

The plan is to redevelop the site, located at 1630 S. Melrose Dr., as a high quality, mid-priced, for-sale home project to help meet pent-up demand for new housing in the market.

Lee & Associates’ Thomas Smith led the team in representing the buyer. Lee & Associates’ Smith, Rusty Williams, along with Duhs Commercial’s Thomas Morgan, represented the seller.

Smith and Morgan specialize in handling church property requirements throughout SoCal through the Church Realty Solutions platform.
