CIM Group said Thursday it’s preparing to open Fifth + Tillery, a newly-constructed creative office building with outdoor walk-up access in East Austin. The approximately 182,700-square-foot property at 618 Tillery St. adds to a CIM portfolio in Austin that already encompasses more than two million square feet.
Situated just off East 7th Street, a main thoroughfare, the property is within a short drive to both Austin’s CBD and South Congress submarkets. It’s geared toward tenants such as technology firms, service providers and design firms.
Los Angeles-based CIM Group acquired Fifth + Tillery, partially under construction, in October 2019 along with 507 Calles St. and a warehouse/office building located at 1300 E. 5th St. Fifth + Tillery is expected to be completed in July.
Along with Fifth + Tillery, 507 Calles and 1300 E. Fifth, CIM’s Austin office portfolio also includes Penn Field, Hartland Plaza and Eastside Village.
