Savills Studley has arranged a lease renewal for Russo & Toner LLP at 33 Whitehall St. in Lower Manhattan. The civil litigation firm has recommitted for 10 years to a 16,003-square-foot space.
A Savills Studley team of vice chairman Marc Shapses, senior managing director Roi Shleifer and assistant director Seth Wasserman represented the law firm. CBRE’s Edward Goldman and Jonathan Cope represented landlord Stawski Partners.
“We explored several occupancy alternatives before determining the best option was to stay in place,” said Shapses. “The landlord is contributing to update and modernize the office to bring it to today’s law office standards and efficiencies.”
He added that the renewal provides Russo & Toner with “flexibility for future growth without incurring any additional costs.”
Completed in 1986, the 27-story 33 Whitehall is also known as Broad Financial Center. The 423,000-square-foot office property is located in the heart of downtown’s Financial District.
