The Los Angeles Clippers signed a more than 13,000-square-foot expansion lease at Onni Group’s 1212 S. Flower St. in DTLA. The NBA team’s office operations had previously been located at the TCW Tower before landing at Onni’s Flower building a few years ago, so the front office could be closer to Staples Center, where the team plays its games.
Throughout the L.A. Clippers, LLC’s tenancy at the 69,700-square-foot property, and dovetailing off an exceptionally productive NBA season, the organization began to experience significant growth and sought expansion alternatives inside the 100%-occupied project that would align with the expiration of its lease in 2024. The team was able to negotiate a sublease with All Def Digital, a hip-hop and urban-youth-culture media startup created by Russell Simmons, the famed founder of the Def Jam Music Label.
Colliers International’s Nathan Pellow, Adam Tischer, and Nick Nybakken brokered the four-year deal.
