CommonGrounds Workplace Expands to Portland’s Pearl District

CommonGrounds Workplace is coming to downtown Portland at Irving Street Lofts. The national enterprise-grade Workplace-as-a-Service (WaaS) and co-working operator is opening a 14,239-square-foot workplace for 175 members in the Rose City’s highly-desirable Pearl District.

CommonGrounds’ Jacob Bates says, “Portland was an early adopter of coworking, and we are bringing our professional, flexible solution to the dynamic Pearl District.”

The CommonGrounds Pearl Workplace, located at Northwest Irving Street and 14th Avenue, encompasses the entire ground floor and a new second level mezzanine of the eight-story, 140,000-square-foot condominium building.

CommonGrounds also plans to open a 27,478-square-foot co-working flexible office at 801 Marquette in downtown Minneapolis. These are the second and third CommonGrounds Workplace locations to open in 2019, as part of the company’s $100-million Series A funding expansion program. There are now seven CommonGrounds Workplaces open. New locations are set open in Burbank, Fort Worth and Houston later this summer.
