ConAm Closes $120M MF Fund

San Diego-based ConAm Group has closed the ConAm Multifamily Acquisition Fund, following a $120-million capital raise. The investment and management firm, led by Rob Singh and Bob Svatos, plans to deploy capital of approximately $400-million in multifamily properties across markets in the West.

Company executives say there was strong interest for their latest fund from a group of private investors, that led to completion of equity commitments in record time.

The ConAm Fund invested approximately 55-percent of its capital through the acquisition of five multifamily properties last year, totaling about 1,300 apartment units and more than $170-million in asset value.
