Construction Begins on First 365 by Whole Foods

Connect Retail West is coming up Thursday, March 16, 2017.  Here’s where to register for The Future of Retail.

Los Angeles-based GPI Companies and Raleigh, NC-based LStar Communities began construction on a new 365 by Whole Foods Market at Sycamore Hills Plaza. The 80,000-square-foot shopping center will be in the master-planned community of Sycamore Hills, which straddles Upland and Claremont, CA, at the 210 Freeway and Baseline Road.

The Sycamore Hills Plaza location will be the first 365 by Whole Foods Market store in the Inland Empire, and among the first in the United States. Nearly 75% of the center’s space is spoken for from tenants including CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, MOD Pizza, Orange Theory Fitness, and Arby’s.

Construction started in early 2016 on the 42-acre Sycamore Hills, and completion is planned for Q4 2017. JLL’s Scott Kaplan, Erik Westedt and Blake Kaplan, are handling leasing at the center.
