Riverside Interests LP completed construction on a 29,205-square-foot creative office building on Austin’s near south side, in the area known as Riverside Corridor. The new building at 2301 E. Riverside Dr. is part of a development that also consists of a 16,875-square-foot office/retail building, and a Capital One ground lease. The new facility can accommodate users from 5,000 square feet to the entire building. Equitable Commercial Realty (ECR) is working with Riverside Interests to lease the asset.
The first building on the site delivered in 2014 and, within 10 months, was leased to tenants including architects, high-tech firms, an advertising firm and a personal trainer. According to Charlie Tames with Austin-based Riverside Interests, the building was originally slated for retail, but ECR suggested a switch from retail to creative office.
