San Francisco-based MacFarlane Partners broke ground on the second phase of Park Fifth in Downtown Los Angeles. The next element of the mixed-use development is a 24-story tower containing 347 apartments, as well as 5,300 square feet of retail.
“Park Fifth is the ideal location for residents that desire high-end amenities, coupled with proximity to transit options,” said MacFarlane Partners’ Ken Lombard.
The site is at 5th and Olive Streets, directly across from Pershing Square and the Pershing Square Metro Station.
Among Park Fifth’s amenities are a 14,000-square-foot courtyard, a pool deck with a zero-edge pool, cabanas, poolside bar, hot tub, BBQ areas and outdoor dining areas, as well as an indoor/outdoor fitness center.
The initial seven-story phase of the project is underway on 313 apartments and 7,500 square feet of retail. Both phases are expected to deliver in 2019.
